Akhilesh Yadav says vaccination should be upped from 2.5 to 10 million shots per day

Lucknow. Samajwadi Party president and Former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, in his tweet said that in order to vaccinate majority of India’s population, it is needed that 10 million people are vaccinated every day instead of the current 2.5 million.

Yadav also said that it is not a debate about capacity, but about the choices the BJP government made.

SP chief tweeted :

In order to vaccinate the majority of India’s population this year, we need to be vaccinating 10 million people per day, not the 2.5 million presently. This is not a debate about capacity, but about the choices the BJP government made.

Yadav also expressed grief towards the news of the death of 22 people in an oxygen mock drill in a hospital in Agra. He called the incident a 'big blot on the medical system' of Uttar Pradesh. BJP government of UP should now file an FIR against itself, he tweeted.
