Civil hospital establishes 'pink booth' to vaccinate women, also sets up a selfie point

Lucknow. Civil hospital has established a special 'pink' vaccination booth to dedicatedly administer the vaccines to women. It has also set up a selfie booth here to encourage and induct more people into the vaccination drive. Dr Subhash Chandra Sundriyal, Director, Civil Hospital stated that these separate vaccine sessions will ensure that ladies are able to procure the anti-infection jab without any hassle or hesitancy. An all-female staff has been deployed at these sites, from registration to inoculation to ensure the safety and comfort of the women beneficiaries. In fact, the security and police personnel stationed here are all women officers, said Dr Sundriyal. As per reports, 4,000 women have been vaccinated here within a month, while a total of 47,000 jabs have been administered on a whole at the hospital. Besides this, people who are getting the COVID vaccination at the Civil Hospital are being appealed to click a snap at the established selfie booth at the hospital compound and post it on social media, after the vaccination activity. This is progressing a digital trend on social media networks, influencing and encouraging more people to register for the vaccination slot.
