Yogi govt misreported coronavirus death number : Akhilesh Yadav

Lucknow. Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav accused the Yogi led UP government of misreporting number of coronavirus death in the state. Yadav alleged that the BJP government's mismanagement and short - sightedness has turned the state into a 'corona pradesh'.

Akhilesh Yadav in his statement said, 'Fake data is being given to show fewer deaths while a rush is being witnessed at crematoriums.'

Yadav said, 'It is the governement's failure that even BJP's MP and MLA's are not satisfied with the current state of affairs. The number of doctor, hospitals and other facilities given by the BJP is mostly fake. Such an intensive government was never seen in the state.'

The BJP should shun its pride of being in power. They should think like family member of covid patients and ensure availibilty of oxygen. There should be uniformity in rates of covid vaccine in the entire country, he said.

SP chief also made an appeal to his party workers through which he asked them to help people battle coronavirus.
